Visit Hatch, the Chile Capital of the World! Though that title is contested by Deming locals since we grow and process those same chiles. But Sparky's quirky mix of kitsch and burgers is definitely worth a visit. Plus, it's chile roasting season so get ready for both your eyes and mouth to water!

Leave early for this trek--it can get hot in September! An easy(ish) one mile hike with a fantastic view payoff. And don't forget to stop at Doc Campbell's afterwards for homemade ice cream!
